Appearance
Instructed to DRINK FROM THE CAN! The choice was half from the can, half from a glass. Pours a hazy light golden color.
Aroma
Notes of tropical fruits, grapefruit, mango, and pineapple with a wonderful citrus nose. Also some hints of floral and pine.
Taste
Incredible burst of flavors. All of the notes in the aroma come through in the taste and intensify with lasting pleasure, leaving a desirable piney finish on the palate.
Mouthfeel
Juicy, like bitting into an orange. Medium in body and bitterness.
Overall
Many beers have trouble following the reputation that proceeds them. This I feel is not the case with The Alchemist’s – Heady Topper. I’ve come to find that each and every time I have the opportunity to enjoy this beer it does not disappoint! Much can be said about this beers exclusivity, but more should be said about its consistency.
